Totoro and Friends
CONCEPT
Based on "My Neighbor Totoro", the beloved Studio Ghibli film by Hayao Miyazaki, I painted this with the feeling of elusive magic and innocent friendships. I loved the joy felt between the two sisters, and especially related to the older Satsuki, who was not quite as confident about Totoro as Mei was. She was old enough to be just on the cusp that exists between the age of imaginary games, and becoming an adult.

Printed on Epsom Premium Luster 240gsm with Canon Pixma Pro 100. Print is 12x18" with 1" margin, total paper size is 13x19". Includes shipping in Canada and USA in reusable, recyclable mailing tube with a tracking number for secure delivery.
